The International Health Central American Institute Foundation (IHCAI), in San Jos�??�?�©, Costa Rica,�??�?� serves as�??�?� the Cochrane Developing Countries Network�??�?� Secretariat.�??�?� Iberoamerican Cochrane Centre provides intramural support provisionally.

During the period 2007-2008 the IHCAI Foundation covered all the Secretariat costs.

De sentrale funksjonene i Cochrane-samarbeidet finansieres med abonnementsinntekter fra the Cochrane Library . De enkelte enhetene i organisasjonen har en lang rekke ulike finansieringskilder, både offentlige og private. De må imidlertid følge organisasjonens felles retningslinjer, som setter visse begrensninger med hensyn til å benytte sponsorer fra industrien.
